INSTRUCTIONS FOR WRITING ABSTRACTS

Participants wishing to give an oral presentation must submit a summary to be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

Summaries need to be written as a single paragraph with a maximum of 250 words, in English.

Summary content: objective of the research, data on the subject of the study (subjects/laboratory animals), description of the methods and procedures used, main results and the most important conclusions.

Below the summary, you need to list 5 key terms that are used for indexing and searching. Do not repeat the keywords contained in the manuscript title, but choose the terms that best reflect the content of the entire article and the scientific field; keywords should be listed alphabetically and separated by semicolons.

The original abstracts will be proofread.

The lead author must ensure that all co-authors are familiar with the content of the abstract before sending it, as well as any further communication related to the summary.

If the co-authors are from different institutions, behind the initials of the co-author's name it is necessary to indicate a number that will correspond to the number of the institution, for example: Horvat I1, Tomic L2, Kovac M2 (uppercase initial letter in the surname, other lowercase letters + uppercase letter of the initials of the name without a period).

One author may have a maximum of TWO abstracts that he presents.

A previously published summary will not be accepted.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.

The Scientific Committee of the Congress reserves the right, in the case of a large number of submitted abstracts for oral presentation, to accept individual abstracts in the form of poster presentations, of which the authors will be informed in a timely manner.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SENDING ABSTRACTS

All abstracts must be sent exclusively via the online form, which can be found below. Please do not report multiple copies of the same summary.

After applying, you will receive confirmation that your summary has been forwarded for evaluation along with the number of abstracts to be assigned to it. Please save this number and refer to it in the correspondence related to the summary.

All authors who wish to publish their papers in full can publish them in a special edition of the journal Archives for Occupational Hygiene and Toxicology.
